Passionate About Inspiring Others
My name is Reza Khorshidi. I graduated from MIT in 1984 with a major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a minor in mathematics and have been teaching math privately and in classrooms ever since. Over the years, I have developed extremely effective methods in preparing students for standardized tests in math. Students of all levels and abilities have used my methods to achieve success.
I started helping my peers with math when I was in third grade and quickly discovered that I had a gift for teaching. I can get into a student's head to figure out what they're struggling with and help them work through it. Most of my students tell me I am the best math teacher they have ever had.

Mr. Moghadam, my 8th grade Algebra teacher, was so good at explaining the material that I looked forward to his class every day. He was the key to my success in math all the way through college and the reason I was always one of the best students. I will never forget how Mr. Moghadam inspired me and I would like my students to feel the same way about me.

Currently I reside in Newton, MA with my wife and two daughters. Here's a picture of a recent hiking outing in the tropics.
